I remember this well. There was also a clay surface tennis court behind the hedges where the lady is sitting in front of to the left. You can just see the bottom of the steps of the slide on the bottom right of the photo. I think I know 2 of the lads in this picture.

Ken, were all these photos taken on the same day ?

I think these photos were probably from the same day when I happened to have the camera with me and probably during school holidays by the look of it. I think the lad on the top bar is the brother of Alan Hatton (middle one on the motorbike) but I can't be sure. Probably late 1960s. Unlikely that the middle one is Norman Hart because he was in the same class as me at junior school about 1952.

I agree Ken, the lad on the crossbar looks like John Hatton. The lad in the middle with his tongue out looks like Glen Benson and the lad to his right, Peter Winstanley. Not sure about the lad on the left.
