Four Wigan memories captured in a instant on a long-ago day....Lowe's Department Store, The Transport Offices, The Underground Toilets and Sarah Lynn's Cake-Shop. Brilliant!

What was the name of the gents outfitters on the corner next to the cake shop where I used to do my courting whilst waiting for the last Standish bus?

linda, the gents outfitters was Jacksons The Tailors - what is now Thomas Cook's travel agents.

we used to go down to the gents dungeon to collect any discarded weight tickets with picture of locomotives on them.Simple pleasures and pastimes.
