where did this photo come from?I dont remember having a part in it but....I`m the only female member of staff present,and the person on my immediate right is my husband Ron Hailwood,who died early last year.We were guilty of trying to teach you sums....and the sciences.I went up with Gore,Silcock and Taylor to Whitley High when the school went comprehensive.

Eric E, I can't see you. The kid 2.5 in from the right is Andrew Mason, lived in Monument Rd. He's pretty much in line with Jasper Melling the metalwork teacher. Kev Burns is on the front row in line with Frank Taylor tech drawing teacher.

I remember Ron Hailwood trying to teach us Maths. He was too nice to cope with the miscreants of our lot and kind of gave up, just coming in and talking to the two or three at the front who wanted to hear him.......
