iCANT BELIEVE IT !!!a blast from the past I remember seeing this band at in Manchester top band
Were was comit y. c.
When I used to go, it was in a disused school in York street, off Wallgate. Used to be a little pub nearby where you could get away with the illicit odd pint or two in the back room,(under age of course). Was it the Grapes, or was that on wallgate
I used to go to the Comet Youth Club. Firstly at the top of Coppull Lane, then St. Michaels Church Hall and then Wallgate where I enjoyed an under age pint in the pub (the landlady had distinctive red hair and we all got caught by 'Bobby Dyke' one night) but I don't recognise the venue on the photo above?
Was the pub the Buck i' th' Vine Dave? http://www.wiganworld.co.uk/album/photo.php?opt=4&id=4489&gallery=Clayton+Street&offset=0
The Buck i'th Vine was also known locally as the "Whitewash"
I can remember this group at the Paradice club in Scholes,
Does anyone remember the Paradice ?
