What a lovely emblem of British Railways see on the tender, it should never have disappeared... sad.

I've seen that on diesel trains....am sure.
This is rebuilt Royal Scot Class No. 46139 (The Welch Regiment) and judging by the lack of con-rods etc. has seen better days. It was withdrawn in October 1962 and cut up in May 1963. Does anyone know if it was "cut" round the corner at Central Wagon Works
