I knew Charlie Smith and Ann Wild, they lived in the same street as me [Hawthorn Ave]. Sadly both are no longer with us.

I didn't attend Our Ladys so it's great to see so many familiar faces on the one photo.
I wasn't aware of Anne and Charlie's demises.
One point, Maureen, you say the girl on the back row is Anne McDonald, are you sure?
I immediately thought she looked like on old friend's sister, Anne McDonnagh. You may well be right, in which case I appologise.

Great to see this photo again. Next to John Lowe in the back row is Anne McDonagh. She and I are still in touch. It is very sad that some of our class mates are no longer with us.
Sorry Anne, I cannot spell. Anne McDonough is the correct splelling for the girl next to John Lowe.
Unfortunately at 11 years old I had misspelt Anne's name on the back of my photograph, apologies Anne. I can't believe that we have lost Charlie, Ann and Joe. I am glad you all enjoy the photo.
Lots of memories brought back on seeing this photo, but I do believe that I am on the back row to the right, not Ian Eccles.
Sorry David but that is definitely Ian Eccles on back row on the right.
Spoke to Noreen Bohannon over Christmas and she picked me out on the photo straight away. The last year for the 11 plus was 1773.
