Sorry John, I only rotated the pic, which was posted earlier, to make for easier viewing. I'd hazard a guess that it was taken in the early 1950s though.

the man in the middle with trilby is horace atherton who later lived in snowden ave.
I was born in Thompson street the man in the flat cap is my dads brother my uncle jackie thomas my dad died when i was four years old and i moved from worsley mesnes but i remember eric rennox and know joe very well fond memories living there as a child all my dads sisters and brothers lived there and i visited them regularly in fact my dads brother Bill Thomas was steward off Worsley Mesnes for many years.
